    Hi all.

I have a Dell Inspiron 6400. I am currently using a High Sierra backpack. It is good from the perspective that it is durable and protects the laptop quite well. However, it is quite unwieldy and the bag itself adds quite a bit of weight...not really good as I'm travelling shortly to Australia from Canada with a baby and I already have back issues!

Thoughts on a good bag? I want something fairly small but still holds a fair amount. And LIGHT is very important to me.

Thanks for any help you can provide!

depending on what you mean by light , try the swiss army knife ones. they are very durable and dome are light.

Hi all. Thanks again for your help.

I actually went with a Lowepro transit because it was on at Best buy for a very low price ($31.99) and I figured it would be okay at least temporarily. I haven't used it yet but it appears to be just what I was looking for: light and small from the depth perspective: somewhat big width and length dimensions but that is necessary for a 15.4 widescreen (which barely fits).

The only thing that remains to be seen is durability....

    LOL.

I also recently placed an order for the Lowepro Transit from Best Buy Canada - it was also on sale for $31.99 CAD.

I'll be picking it up on Wednesday (same day my new HP laptop arrives) , I'll try and see if I can post a review.
