I have a Dell Inspiron 9300 on order and I'll need a bag to cart it around in. I know the thing is the size of a surfboard so I'll need to get a big one - any recommendations?
I'm actually from the UK but I should be able to track down equivalents if you point out a US supplier.
I probably want something that doesn't look too 'Laptoppy' - don't want everyone to know what I am carrying, maybe a backpack type.

If you don't have to carry around a bunch of other stuff, the Crumpler line ( www.crumplerbags.com) has the "Skivvy" which fits my Gateway 17" widescreen with roughly the same dimensions. It looks more like a messenger bag than some others, but won't hold books. I just took mine on a long driving trip with all the necessary power, ethernet, and phone cords, plus one jewel case, but that was about all I could take.

Sweet bag Jack!!! I'm also in need of a new bag - my laptop is 15.4 but it sticks out a little too far in the front so it doesn't fit in my current bag. Looks like I'll have to get a 16" or 17" bag.
