New laptop but I need a case for it. It has a really shiny finish to it so I don't want it to scratch. Any case/pouch good for it?? Thanks

Check out the SwissGear Pegasus. It has a large padded compartment for the laptop to go in.

I am using a Timbuk 2 laptop messenger bag. The G50VT fits snuggly in the padded laptop compartment in the bag, which is lined with this sort of fleece that doesn't scratch anything.

    Hey there,

I wasnt to sure if you also wanted to look at some laptop sleeves, either..so here is a linky to amazon.com for some that will fit your Asus.

Belkin makes some good ones, as does Targus, and Built NY :D

Here are some good notebook bags: Swiss Gear makes excellent ones, and again Belkin, Targus, etc! :D

    Swiss Gear Synergy:

    Wenger by Swiss Gear:

A general page of 15.4" taken from amazon.com for you to peruse:
    http://www.amazon.com/s/ref=nb_ss_gw?url=search-alias=aps&field-keywords=15.4"+laptop+backpacks

also, check ebags.com: link takes you to their laptop backpacks :D
    http://www.ebags.com/business_lapto...tegory_search/index.cfm?Ne=100&N=4001+2006678

Also some other good brands are: Mobile Edge, Skooba, Sumdex, The North Face, Victoronix, Columbia, Case Logic, etc. :D

And, if you have time...try and check this thread (*stickied* at the top of the Accessories forum) Links to Notebook Bag Makers, Dealers and Reviews : http://forum.notebookreview.com/showthread.php?t=50734

How about a recommendation for a slingbag that can also hold a DSLR?
