I'm looking at some skullcandy and other earbuds at futureshop.ca. Can anyone recommend me a good earbud? I'm looking for good base and comfort...

Like I said in my topic, my price range is around $50.

    Thanks all

Some Sennheiser earbuds will do you good for around $25-$50, like the CX300/400/500. I have only listened to the CX300, which are decent (for the money, that is).

Ultimate Ears also provides good sound quality for the money. I use a pair of metro-fi 2, which are around $80; they sell more inexpensive models for around $50, like these:

I have not listened to that particular pair though, so look up some reviews.

    i also recommend the Sennheiser CX300's or CX500's. ;)

BTW, the CX500's sound (almost) exactly the same as CX300's. :)
    ^^^
    Ive tried both.

I got the 25 dollar skullcandy earbuds and was BLOWN AWAY! I never imagined an earbud could sound so good. For god sakes its got BASS and not crappy tinny bass either its got REAL BASS. They are the best ever and I just can't believe they were 25 bucks.

    IM BLOWN AWAY!

I'd go with the sennheisers. From all my experiences the cheap skullcandy ear buds aren't that good.

Thanks for all your input guys! :) Unfortunately the store nearby me didn't have any sennheiser's below $150... I went ahead and got the skullcandy INK'd...

They're pretty decent, I can't complain. Bass is really good... They were on special for $15 too so it's a pretty amazing deal!

Next time I shop though I'll go for a Sennheiser.

    Again thanks everyone...

For future reference, if you don't mind buying online have a look at Amazon.com.
They have the Sennheiser CX 400 In-Ear Headphone for 25$ (it's where I bought mine).
There's usually some pretty good deals online if you're an online buyer.

    I would recommend ER4P.

cheap: marshmallow is fine, air cushion is also fine(jvc)
not as cheap: etymotic er6i is a good choice too, sometimes they go as low as 70 in states and i would skip se110 and 210 as they had been coined with not-so-great shures

sennheisers seems to be good, creatives' variants are pretty much the same if they have the same shape.

only if er4p is cheap... but they are at least 150+ to 200... with that price range you will be in another debate

SE210 is the same as SCL3 and ER4 the same as SCL4. Most reviews put SCL3 and SCL4 together as pretty similar in sound signature. Of course the SCL4 is better especially in bass but the SCL3 are still quite good. Also SCL3 could be had for $60 and SCL4 for $80 some time ago at GuitarCenter. You can them for a bit more on Ebay still.
