I was going to get the Asus EEE but it's hit EOL. Anyone know any good alternatives?

I am confused... Are we talking about the keyboard or the netbook?

And if you are talking about keyboards, how much are you willing to spend?

From what I've read, the Eee Keyboard was literally just released today and costs $600.

The only 2 keyboard i can think of is the Apple wireless keyboard and the arc keyboard. Given that you use a macbookpro i recommend go for the apple keyboard perhaps?

The Arc does look like a really good option.

Mechanical keyboards with cherry mx switches are superior in quality to any of these quiet keys garbage. Look at steelseries keyboards, filco keyboards, even the old school ibm model m. I grew up on mechanical keyboards and the typing experience is just so much smoother.

Second the filco, really nice keyboard, but there are different switches to chose, i personally preferred Brown over blue cause i dont like too much the noise of the clicking blue, this is personal preference, but either of the filcos should be a great choice.

I just ordered the cherry mx brown full size keyboard. One of the games I play requires the numberpad to move diaganol so the numberpad is critical for me. Still waiting for it to arrive. Signature plastics is making me some custom color keys for it. They make doubleshot keys meaning they dont print the letters on the keys they use a mold that leaves the letter hollow and then they fill the hollow space with a different color plastic. They keys can never wear off. I'm getting a red back space key an orange enter key brown shift keys blue control keys green wasd keys yellow arrow keys a white space bar and purple alt keys. I'll eventually replace all they keys with double shot keys so much brihgter and lasts forever. But the color coded special keys will be bad .

That sounds awesome. Back in my heyday, wish I did something like that. Now my kids will destroy it no matter how rugged it is. LOL. I always like a nice keyboard.
