I am looking for usb powered speakers because my g51j has horrible speakers and its hard to even hear speech in movies. I am also looking for inexpensive ones because i am on a budget.

Why don't you use headphones? Even some pretty cheap headphones can deliver awesome sound (much better than any USB speaker of any price range).

When I want better than average sound and don't want to fuss with cords I use my Sennheiser MM450 bluetooth headphones. They sound awesome, are a comfortable on ear design, have noise cancellation, good battery life and have an optional wired mode if you need it. You can upgrade to the MM550 if you prefer over ear headphones instead. Great sound, great bass, etc. You'll be happy with them. I sync mine to my iphone (can answer calls), my PSP Go and my M11x and they work awesome with all those devices. Plus the fold up and take up very little space in my bag. Better than any portable USB speaker you'll get.
