I have a wired mouse that I use to play games on my laptop, but my desk is too crowded and the wire gets very annoying especially in FPS's. I know that they sell a lot of wired gaming mice, but can you please give me good wireless gaming mice? I don't care if its connected by bluetooth or one of those usb ones, and price doesn't matter. Thanks![]()

There are a lot of good wireless mouses out there but I really wouldnt suggest using a wireless for gaming
-
Wireless + Gaming = fail the only mouse you should consider if you want wireless gaming is the Logitech G7
-
yea i second the logitech g7, my friends have it and they are pro cs players. it seems very good although BEWARE, the only bad thing is the BATTERY LIFE. i heard that it is pretty bad like u need to recharge them everyday but logitech fixed it by giving u two batteries with the mouse so when one finishes, u switch it out quickly and put the new one back in, only taking like 10 secs.
personally i dont see a need for wireless mouses, its only a small wire and my g5 is holdin up pretty good. can i see a pic of ur desk to see how cluttered it really is?? -
cant go wrong with logitech G-series.. thus, i also recommend logitech G7.
-
The problem with the Logitech G7 is that you only have 2 spare batteries. Like any rechargeable batteries, they wear out after a while. And based my research few months ago, they don't sell any spare batteries. They only accept to replace them if, within the one year of warranty, you can get 30 min. of battery life. So be careful when buying.
I bought the G7 but after seing a lot of negative comments, I decided to exchange it for a G5 (2 thumb buttons). Its not the prettiest mouse, but it does the job. Depending on your desk layout, wires can be a pain but after you set everything correctly, there's no problem. I prefer having a sometimes annoying wire than a wireless mouse with a weared-out battery. -

Still have the Logitech G7 stored away. Ran great for almost 3 years. One the best best investments I ever made.

I USE AN MX REVOLUTION ON MY DESKTOP. w000000000000000.
Hasn't failed me yet.You can try a VX Rev, though I don't know how that is, since I use a VX Nano which I find rather good as well.
If you don't mind using a desktop mouse, give the MX Rev a spin. -
I've been using a VX revolution for a while now since I wanted something decently sized but also wireless and portable, it does the job fine.
I wouldn't play any competitive FPS with it or anything, but for day to day use it's not like there's a 2 hour lag on mouse movements or anything.
People vastly exaggerate when comparing wired/wireless mice. -
-
Been running a G7 for over 2 years and it is phenomenal. Batteries are still going strong. Changing out the battery is less of an annoyance than being tethered to a cord. I got mine for less than $50 after rebate, so I couldn't pass it up.
-
As said by X2P, wireless+gaming=fail. What wired mouse do you have? My Deathadder's wire never gets in the way because it's so thin and bendy. If you really must go wireless then listen to all these people talking about their G7s, it's really the only "official" wireless gaming mouse.

the vx nano, vx revolution, and mx revolution are also good alternatives to the G series. they aren't "gaming mice", but they at least don't have that crappy wireless mouse lag that is all too common. They each use a 2.4ghz receiver just like the g7. they will perform at least as well as a normal wired laser mouse. the vx nano also has a mini-version of the receiver that might be convenient for you if you are on a laptop.
i found the vx nano to be a great compromise for my laptop mouse. its not quite a gaming grade mouse, but at least there is no lag or "wake up period", the 2 triple a batteries last literally months, and the receiver is small enough that i can just leave it attached even when the laptop is in its case. -
Yes the VX and MX mice use 2.4 ghz receivers but they don't have the DPI of the G7. The big difference I notice when I switch between my Deathadder (1800 DPI, which isn't as high as some of the Logitechs) and my MX Revolution (800 DPI) is that the Revoluton feels sluggish even with the sensitivity turned up. This feels even worse when I try to game with my Revolution now; I just feel like the crosshair should be somewhere it's not.
-
I have the VX revolution, and It is a very good mouse, but it is definitely NOT a gaming mouse. There's no DPI changing on it. I kinda regret getting it, but again, it is a very good mouse.
I recommend the G7, if you don't care about the mediocre battery life.
Another great mouse is the Logitech MX1100. It is supposed to be the replacement to the MX revolution. It has on the fly DPI switching, it's pretty comfortable, it has a fairly small 2 inch USB receiver, and it uses plain jane AA batteries! This was the mouse I wanted to get, but it's too expensive for me. 70 bucks.

G7 = Epic Fail.
One button on the side... huh, so what do I choose, flash bank or knife. If theres not 2 thumb buttens, the mouse is worthless, I bought a G7, it sits there, I never use it.
mx518 is by far the best gaming mouse, too bad they didnt make it wireless. I would stock up. -
Sorry but I got to say it: you really can't speak for everybody when talking about a "best mouse." I personally think that the MX518 feels plain wrong in my hand. I like the shape of the Deathadder more because it supports my hand; where with the MX518, my palm feels like it will slip off the mouse unless I re-grip it.
Everyone has their own preferences eh? -
Microsoft Wireless Notebook Mouse 7000 has been serving me well.

Wireless and gaming do not go together to be honest, as the response time from wireless can be a bit fudged at times, lag that will surely cost you in FPS games and the like.

razewr just released a new wireless gaming mouse 2day....
-
^true, it is called mamba, but it will cost 120$
-
The Mamba is basically a wireless Deathadder with a new sensor and swappable wired functionality; I don't see the point to having both but I guess it could come in handy once in a while. 5600DPI is just overkill, I could use the two extra buttons though.
Bottom line....I want
Good wireless gaming mouse???
