My current logitech RF wireless keyboard doesnt seem to have a range beyond 1-2 feet which is useless as I plan on having the computer connected to the T.V which is at least 8 ft away from where I want to use the keyboard. Any suggestions?

    Does bluetooth have better range?

    Thanks.

Are you sure your batteries aren't dying? I have the logitech mx3100 wireless desktop set and I love it! My receiver is always 3-4 feet away from where I am with my keyboard and mouse. I do notice I need to be closer when my keyboard batteries are dying, though.

Bluetooth should get you 30 feet or so with regularity. I like both the MSFT and Logi keyboards but prefer the MSFT mouse.
