And it really does work as promised! I've got 3 out of 4 tables in the house covered in glass or mirror and I finally don't have to carry some paper around with me to use a mouse. I also tried it on my bathroom mirror and the glass door and window - works everywhere. Cool :D

Sweet! :) Grat's on your purchase...

It's nice to know that it works "nearly" everywhere, that you have explored with it! And, that you have!! :p :D

Have you tried it on your carpeting yet? I tried my MS Mobile Mouse 6000 on the floor and works just fine! ;) The traction isn't bad at all.

Thanks :) I don't have any carpet actually, but I could try it on my dog...

Yes, try it on your dog! :p lulz. Works well on my cat...

My BTrack Mouse works great on wood flooring BTW! ;) Not sure how your Darkfield Technology will!! HA~

How are you liking the Hyperrfast Scrolling on it? I have it on my M555B, pretty sweet! ;)

Darkfield is supposed to be Logitech's competitor to Microsoft's BlueTrack. They should work on the same surfaces. And wood has never really been a problem for mice; it's more for things like glass and mirrored or transparent surfaces like that.

Yup, Logitech and MS have always been strong competitors when it comes to their brand/models of mice, esp. now with Darkfield & Bluetrack.

Okay, it works on both of my dogs (I've got 2 labradors) - they were a bit surprised, but hey, it's all part of life :) It also works on glass thinner than 4 millimeters, so I guess they played it safe a bit. Actually, this is the first LT mouse that I have - I had MS and others before.

The hyper scroll - I can't use personally, I've turned it off. I don't need to scroll that fast through anything, but having that option is great, and I'm sure someone uses it. Apart from that, the mouse does feel a bit weird in the hand, just because it's rather big and I'm not used to that shape (I have been around when trackballs were thought to be popular!), but I can see that I'll get used to it really soon. It also works on leather, BTW (my couch) :)
