So, I just received these head phones, however they don't fit in the standard head phone jack in my laptop, what am I missing? I could have sworn breadcrab said these would work =/

Nvm... I'm an idiot...
-
Glad you got it worked out lol.

The plug doesn't fit completely in my laptop either. The plastic end is very wide and the headphone jack is recessed, so you really have to push it in deep and hard. The pins will make contact, but it still won't fit in completely.
It's a small sacrifice in exchange for some of the best sound in the world! -
Good thing you made it work; that would have been unfortunate.
-
haha, Yeah, I can't stop laughing at myself. The HUGE cover on the jack I took to be the actual plug XD. I opened the box and thought "no way is that going to fit." But I have now been playing with them for a little bit, and dang. They sound great. AND they are comfortable.
-
They call them comfies for a reason.
The originals came with bowls. Much less comfortable, but better sounding. -
That's your opinion. I think the comfies sound better, the bowls just make the highs too prominent and piercing.
-
Glad to see you're not out to skin me.

It seems like that's the way that Grados are. I like their characteristics for the types of music that I listen to.Last edited by a moderator: May 6, 2015 -
