Basically I want a mid-sized tablet that I can hook to my computer (bluetooth would be nice) and take notes on (no paper) while my computer recognizes my handwriting and converts to text. Mind you, this doesn't have to convert on the fly, but eventually needs to be converted to text at some point. I've been looking at Wacom tablets but they look like they are geared more towards drawing/pictures. Any help would be appreciated!
PS: I already know about graphic tablets WITH paper, I want one WITHOUT.![]()

Wacom makes the best tablets, they even have a bluetooth model! (same one I have but I have the wired version) So look for Wacom Graphire 4 bluetooth.
Now to your question at hand, its not the hardware (the tablet itself) that does the handwriting recognition, its all about the software. If you have the software you can use any tablet to do it.
Wacom just happens to have the best quality for a tablet tho and is highly recomended.
I forget off hand exactly what software supports this, I do belive they list this stuff on the Wacom site, or just google it.
(I assume when you say talbet your talking about one of these, and not a computer tablet thats an actual computer itself, because then you wouldnt be hooking it to your computer... thats the kind of tablets at tabletpcreview, so thats not a good place to go)
