    Hey everybody,

Before anyone flames me for not searching, I DID!. However, everyone recommends Kilpish 2.1 speakers, logitech Z-xxx, but that's WAY out of my price range. I'm looking for something between 20-30 $US, I guess $40 pushing it is fine. Every speaker set I saw on here is over $120, which is too much. Therefore, could anyone recommend me some 2.1 speakers?

    Thanks,
    theusman

Thanks for the quick reply everyone!

I have considered this, but I found this on Amazon at $99, so I was like forget it. Is there any cheaper deals around the internet where I can get it new? (Yes, I'm horrible with online deal searching :p)

    Thanks!

''Hi thought id let the secret out hehe Anyway when i started producing i brought some Logitech's Z-3e's Which i thought would never be good for mixing or whatever. Damn was i wrong. (i do not work for logitech hehe)

Anyway yeah i produce all my tracks on these speakers and when i used to goto college we had all types of monitors there Dynaudio's KRK's Yamaha's. When i took my mixes in from home and put them in there they sounded great. But when i mixed in college and played it on other systems everything sounded ****.

I wouldn't recommend these for SERIOUS monitoring or monitoring at all but if you are just making tracks (with no vocals in) these are really great for the price even if its just for reference monitoring.

I got mine a few years back in Currys for like 40 QUID (found some on amazon.com below)

    Thanks everyone!

The logitech Z-3e is the most inexensive one here so far. BTW, can anyone tell me the diffference between the logitech x-230 and x-240? I know the 240 is newer, but is it better?

P.S can anyone find the x-230 online under $30?

    Thanks,
    theusman
