Hey guys, I was not sure if anyone had any ideas on something i could design, build, buy.

I want to carry a laptop while riding in summer time. Its a small laptop 13.3inch screen.

I wanted to carry it in a back pack but I wanted to slip it inside something to make it uncrushable. I was hoping someone might have seen something to point me in the right direciton.

    size of the laptop
    (w) 12.5, (d) 9.4, (h) 1.33

    (its a dell M1330)

    so close.....

I know they have something like that for macbooks...I would be interested in it as well for when I ride to school and back as well.

You might check it out in person b/f relying on those measurements. I went into frys for a "real" pelican case and saw they had those notebook dedicated pelicans too- it almost fit my 15.0", no joke. I bet it fits yours.

They are not quite as hearty of course as the traditional pelican cases. The hinges, the seals, the latches, the quality of the materials and how everything just matches up in general.

They make a pelican case to fit a 17" too.
