I wouldn't spend $60 on a cable. I got a 25 ft. HDMI cable on Ebay for $20 shipped, and it would be even cheaper than that for a shorter one. It was even a 1.3 HDMI cable

Get the cheapest cable you can. They're all pretty much the same for distances under 30 ft. You'd only see a difference between a $5 and a $60 at long distances. I picked up mine for $10 and it works great. You can find some for cheaper at the usual places. In short, the $60 cable is a complete rip-off for most.

Awesome,,,,you guys rock!!! I was thinking you usually get what you pay for so the cheaper cable would not have as good picture and sound etc....and I would only need 6 feet at most maybe less..thanks for all the input. cheers!!!

If the distance is that small, go it the cheapest you can find. Under most cases, you'll get a good cable. There are some cheap cables that are bad, but most are solid. I got mine at PC Club for $10, in case there's one around you. The reason why cheap cables are usually fine is due to HDMI being a digital signal.
