Hi, I have been hunting around for a good tv tuner for my notebook but with no luck. My budget is around 100 bucks, and it needs to be able to connect with a coaxial and pickup channels that way, and I want to be able to hook my gamecube up to it, how it hooks up i do not care (component, composite etc). I have read things about two different types of broadcasts, NTSC and ATSC. If I understand correctly, ATSC is digital and NTSC is analog. It must be able to recieve NTSC and ATSC would be nice, I do not know a lot about these two broadcasts and what it means to me, but like I said it needs to be able to pickup channels through a coaxial. I have read in other threads something about Mythtv, i have no idea what that is but it sounds important for tv tuner cards. I do not care if this works via usb or express card. Oh and over the air channels would also be nice to pickup. But yeah, i have not been able to find a tv tuner card with everything listed above, so if you could help me out it will be very much appreciated.

AutumnWave OnAir USB HDTV tuner. It's a bit over your budget but it has S-Video and composite inputs as well as coax for cable (including unencrypted digital cable) or antenna. Their software and support are very good. Highly recommended.

MythTV is a PVR application. It is very flexible and highly recommended.

They both look good, but i didn't see anythiing about it letting me plug my gamecube in, do any of them have it? Oh and also will there be much of a quality issue from different tuners through coaxial?
