    hey all, this is BAD NEWS! the memory card is showing an error, and won't be read by the pc, is there anything i can do to fix this? i need the card working and the pics!! can i freeze it like a HDD????

    You can get recovery tools for sd cards... google it - I know you can for hard drives , not entirley sure about sd cards but im 90% sure you can. just goole recover sd card...

    Have you tried a different card reader? It may be that that card reader doesnt want to recognize it. Try and test it on another pc.

    ok dude, i'm no noob here. I've tried a different pc, didn't work. i've tried different cards, which worked both in the reader and in the camera. one program managed to read that i had a sandisk 512 mb card in slot G, but couldnt get any pics off....

    Well, if you've already tried the different recovery software and different readers and still no dice, I think your only option is to send it to a company that specializes in data recovery or live without those pics. Sorry.
