Ive never used a docking station before but im thinking of getting a 9500t and just putting it inside my desk with a docking station powering my laptop, then attach a keyboard/mouse/screen on top of my desk.

If I set it up this way, I have to keep the laptop closed shut to fit inside my desk, will it still be able to be powered on and run while its closed via a docking station?

    thanks!!

well it should as long as u tell the laptop not to shutdown when the lid is closed. powering it on may require u to open the laptop if the docking station doesnt have an On button for it or the laptop doesnt support this feature. perhaps the HP docking stations will be supported but u need to check with the one you wanna buy
