HP manufactures great printers - they are well built and offer excellent image quality. However, every HP printer I have ever used (including deskjets, business lasers, professional office multifunctions, and wide format plotters) manages to drive me into a temporary insanity.

I'm sure with a little patience I would eventually be able to decipher those blinking lights mocking me after attempting to delete a print job. Instead I hopelessly cut the power and then plug the machine back in, only to be faced with the same lights blinking... mocking...

being in a bad mood this morning, I had no tolerance for my new HP deskjet's disobedience, so across the room it flew. I am glad this thing came free with my laptop, because you would have to pay me to waste time with HP printers.

    Maybe it'll work better now. ;) :p

Anyway, deleting print jobs in queue has always been annoying. Either it stops almost at the end of the actual printing session, or it just locks up the printer from carrying out any other tasks without a restart.

At least yours would pretend to work, I can't even install the drivers for mine in Vista.
