My mouse cursor randomly jumps to the lower right corner of my screen!

    Here's my setup:

    HP TX2000z
    HP Quickdock 2.0
Logitech MX 5500 Revolution Keyboard + Mouse
    Samsung 24" LCD
    HP 90W Power Adapter

Most of the time i don't have anything else plugged into the quickdock but an ethernet cable. Nothing else is plugged into the laptop while it's being docked. The batteries in the mouse and keyboard can be fully charged and the mouse cursor would still go crazy.

I've also tried a complete reformat and NOT installing setpoint at all... no difference. One person advised that when i experience this mouse jumping business, to lock the computer (Fn+F6) and then unlock it again. That doesn't always help. It "works" maybe 1 out of 10 times... which makes me believe it doesn't really work at all.

The problem seems random. It occurs when I plug the laptop in while it's already running and when I turn it on only after I've plugged in the quickdock - which actually doesn't make it "quick" at all anymore to have to shut down, plug in, and then start back up.

To further annoy me, the cursor jumps to the lower right and "clicks", deselecting the currently active window. This is extremely disruptive when I'm typing long documents or emails.

The quickdock doesn't actually come with a power adapter so I didn't completely rule out the possibility that the quickdock was being underpowered. But the power adapter that I'm using is the HP 90W Smart-pin that is listed on the HP website (linked directly from the Quickdock 2.0 page).

I'm fairly sure it's not just my particular docking station as this happens on both my Quickdock (silver) and my Quickdock 2.0 (black)... yeah, I also bought the 2.0 thinking that the problem was with the v1.0 that i had. Now I have exactly 2.0 annoying quickdocks.

Sorry if a resolution to this problem has already been posted or if I shouldn't be starting a thread here... I just don't know where else to post.

Any help will be much appreciated.

What happens when you plug it directly on the tablet?
