Buying my first laptop ever and I need to know if an external USB wired mouse can be used with the zs6000 from HP? Is it possible also to use an external USB wired keyboard. I need to avoid the wireless equipment.
thanks all,
Louis

USB devices will be identified automatically and will work without installing any extra software/drivers (unless the keyboard/mouse you get has some special feature buttons).
BTW why no wireless? It does keep your desktop less tangled.
anomaly, I like the quote in your sig! []

It won't be a problem, the laptop will be able to use any usb device you throw at it.

Thanks for filling me in on the mouse and keyboard. My first laptop and I am trying to fill all the little squares. [

@Qwester - I am one of the few that consider wireless freqs to be unhealthy [], I just don't trust wireless, of course I don't trust teflon coated pans either. [

Did you by chance get your handle from 'Qwester Thewes' of the Magic Kingdom series by Terry Brooks?
