Congrats and let us know how you like it. I have been thinking about getting one to replace this Rat 7 I got not too long ago.
-
thanks man, will do!
Really? The RAT7 was the throw up with this and the mamba with g9x.
Was I right here, coming from someone who has experience with the RAT7; you.

That's all based from video reviews and store/forum reviews on the RAT7 that made me change my mind. -

I could just envy you guys from the other end of the corner.. Could see that the mouse and the headphones are displayed on logitech Asia but not able to but or order it
Hmm. They shows the picture yet not a single way to buy it..
Really just saddens me quite abit. -
Can't wait, pretty fast ship, 2 days from TN to IL.
They don't have any on the Asia site? I would have figured that site would have had it first before the US did.Last edited by a moderator: May 6, 2015 -

If I'm not mistaken, Malaysia still do not have this mouse yet.

aw damn, that sucks =\

i'm starting to gain alot of interest in this mouse. i love the contour of logitech mices, and was considering upgrading my old logitech MX400 (i think). how is the battery life and wireless performance? i tend to stay away from wireless mice cuz i would rather not deal with interference, and tracking, issues while i'm gaming.

Well, I'm coming up from an Orochi that has like a 2ms delay from it's stupid auto sleep mode when it is being used wireless (bluetoof). So for me, I think the interference which would probably be none and tracking issues are cleared from the check list. I'm using a OZ Behemoth mouse pad which was awesome on the Orochi and my mom's Anywhere MX-darkfield. So I presume that it'll be the same performance with the g700 just better without the delay that the Orochi had.
But we'll have to see, ETA is tomorrow for me. So I'll put it through a beating when I play some cod tomorrow night after I have it all set up. -
i could wish for but i cant get it -

I passed on this mouse because I was reading not so good things about battery life, I thought the button count would be nice for SC2 hotkeys but then I thought how I do not really need a mouse with a perfect condition G7 and a brand new MX518.
Plus if I got used to the mouse buttons for play when playing on another machine I would be at a disadvantage. So talked myself out of it. -
And it has macro & built-in memory, so you can have the same result in different machine -
now, and saw some people saying that Alienware mention that they would like to be the first few to release Sandy when it's released..
I know I'm letting my hopes get high. I had waitied for awhile now.. Waiting just a bit longer won't hurt right? -
can i use this mouse as well as a Performance MX running off the same usb dongle?

I got the mouse today and it's pretty damn sweet. Best $80 invested, the feeling of the mouse is awesome and I can go back to palming and not some weird fingertip/claw from the orochi. I'll take pictures and do a review of it on the first page. -
moving from Orochi to G700..tell us how you feel !!
I felt like coming out of stone age when going Orochi to AnywhereMX LOL . -
dude... . It is such a relief to be coming up to a g700. Even though, "at the time" I "did" get use to the strange hybrid fingertip/claw style holding of the Orochi, just being able to Palm the mouse again is so much more true to me. I've always been a palmer and always will be.
One thing that I did like a lot about the Orochi is its teflon feet. It was straight butter on my OCZ Behemoth. I'm not sure if it is because the mouse it self was so freakin light, but the g700 on my OCZ isn't nearly as the same.
The glide itself is smooth but it takes a little bit more effort to have it fly across the pad. I don't know if it is because of the quality of Logitech's teflon feet or the general heavy weight of the mouse, maybe the combination of both; but that sorta made me bummed out. Not really, I was just expecting it to glide as smooth as butter like the Orochi.
Maybe like with other users with this mouse who loves it, the overall hand to button placement is all true to my feeling. It's almost as if Logitech made the mouse to my standards.
At first I thought cramming 4 of those side buttons would be a big nuisance, but it is... perfect. Just... Perfect. I can't say anything else about it.
The material of the mouse is great, it has a matte (very subtle texture) feel to it. It isn't glossy or smooth. The mouse wheel is pretty sweet. My brother has the performance mx and I thought that freewheel was a cool design. Just being able to switch it from detent when it clicks to unlimited spin is a bonus cookie.
My internet is down at my apt for the passed 2 days so I haven't been able to actually test it yet, but just from feeling/playing around with it; there are no regrets with this purchase.
Remember from my first post, I was in a dilemma from the g9x, mamba and RAT7. I felt all except the RAT 7 and I am 110% sure I made the best decision to go g700.
Once the internet goes back up though, this mouse is going to go through a beating of its lifetime once I get all the macros and settings figured out for COD. Not like literal raging and pounding the mouse, but I'll make sure I break it in within one night of playing
How ever many buttons it has, don't remember off the top of my head, 13? Is definitely a lot but for a FPS or mmorpg or whatever the acronym is, all 13 can/will be easily utilized. Just thinking about it, I already have an idea on what I'm going to be binding to all 13 buttons. For daily usage though, I can agree that's sort of an over kill
I'll post up pictures later -

Does this mouse contribute to frame rate slowdown in F.E.A.R.? I like the mouse, and I like to play that game from time to time. However, many of the G-series mice and keyboards (especially the G9/G9x and G15) cause performance to tank after a few minutes of gameplay. Logitech has pointed the finger at Monolith and vice versa so this is probably never going to be fixed.

you blackhawk in your sig is almost the same as my lenovo y560. Instead I have a ati5730.
From playing COD last night putting the mouse to a test, I didn't notice any slowdown. So... not sure. If there is, I don't notice it. -
