I would like to invest in a brief case type hard case for my xps 1710. Metal would be nice and storage space in not a real issue.

I have seen bullet proof type cases in the past and would love one for mine. A pimpin laptop with a pimpin case

    Have any ideas?

Look around for attache cases. They tend to be hard cases.

Gotta say though that you may want to think twice about getting a metal case for the M1710. That beast weighs almost 10lbs with the AC Adapter. Add in a metal case and you might be looking around 20lbs.

20lbs is not that big of a deal for me. I find the back pack for lack of a better word :( .

That alien ware case is 6lbs and looks nice. I might look into it.
