    Hello,

I got those pair of speakers...and think there might be a problem with them. When they're idle (turned on, nothing playing) I hear a hiss coming from them if I put my head maybe 10 in away form the speakers. Any further and the hiss is gone. Is this a problem with the speakers? I think I didnt notice a hiss on other speakers (logitecH) is because they have that black grill that probably blocks it out. WHat do you think? Should I call HK for a replacement pair? Thanks

This is the wrong forum section, you should go to the accessories section.

You can't. Ask a mod to do so.

Edit: I'll have Niki do it for you. ;)

Are the speakers plugged into your notebook when you hear the hissing? I'd suggest unplugging them and turn them on, see if you still hear the noise.

Well they don't have to be plugged into anything to hear the hissing. As long as they're turned on, I can hear it.
