Has anyone gotten their Webcam to work with Vista?

I purchased the highly anticipated NX-6000 LifeCam yesterday. To my dismay, though it recognized the device and identified it, Vista did little else than that.
In movie maker and sound recorder I'm able to get the microphone on the webcam to work, but it comes out exceedingly crappy, dull, and for some reason at a lower pitch.
Does anyone know a loophole or solution to this problem? There does not appear to be any available drivers online, and all the webcapture applications are XP only.
Please save it if all you're going to say is "Vista's gay."
    Thanks.

You might try downloading the drivers for WinXP from the manufacturer's website - but there is not guarantee that it will work with Vista. In fact, the likelihood that it won't is much higher.

There might be a Vista driver for your webcam, but that possibility is slim as well.
