Guys I'm really stuck between some gaming headsets here. All I want is a decent budget gaming headphone, and after days of research, I shortlisted them to these three:

Amazon.com: Corsair Raptor H3 Gaming Headset (CA-9011118-NA): Computers & Accessories

Amazon.com: Creative Sound Blaster Tactic 3D Alpha USB Gaming Headset: Electronics

Amazon.com: Turtle Beach Ear Force Z11 PC Gaming Headset: Electronics

I want clear gaming audio, and would greatly appreciate noise cancellation. The described surround sound features of the creative headset makes me lean towards it, but I thought about asking you guys here first. Please suggest the best out of these. If somebody has some experience with any of these, don't forget to share.

Don't get the Sound Blaster. Creative hasn't been a decent company in a long time. Fake surround sound is also a very poor technology in my opinion.

I've been using Corsair HS1-NA headsets since they were released and I'd recommend them or any others they'd make.

Edit: I'd also recommend specifically looking for a USB headset if you'd using a laptop. They will often be much clearer, because laptops commonly leak ground and distort easily.

There's a few inconsistencies there - the HS1 is a Dolby headset - 'fake surround'. Which is in most cases very effective.

And Creative's implementation is actually better IMO.

I do concur with USB though. Much more consistent unless you have a decent external soundcard, or if this is on a desktop then a Creative soundcard that rejects EMI (Because the Asus Essences certainly don't).

I've got to buy me a Gamecom one of these days to see how it actually stacks up. I just get distracted by shinier sets every time I go headset shopping.

Which is software driven, and I don't have the drivers installed. All it does is degrade the quality, and adds nothing to games like BF3 or CS:GO

Some games don't support Dolby properly. CS is one of them. BF3? Works IMO.
