hello, i was wondering, in a messenger bag, do you/should you normally put the laptop with the opening side facing down or opening side facing up?

-like, the notebook opens facing you versus opens away from you, at the ground...

-im planning to get a messenger bad with a laptop pocket... im wondering is structural integrity of the lappy will come into play here with the different pressure points and jolts...

Mine goes sideways :p (in my book bag) as for my messenger bag It goes "opening side down" because my c90 has the turbo engine on the back and even tho its nice and strong I would rather distribute the weight across the face.

It should not matter one way or the other as long as your not handling it rough.
