All the threads in the search for gaming headsets are pretty stale so just started a new one.

I'm going to be needing a headset soon for WoW.

I just read that it's better to pick up a non-gamer specific set but I don't want anything like the Failtal1tard (lol) one anyway.

Also read it's better to get an external mic, but how does that actually work? :/

    Basicaly looking for:

    - Something lightweight, don't like big cans
    - I travel a lot so I'd need it to be foldable and durable (don't want to use while travelling, just transporting them)
    - Quite good bass
    - Needs ability to attach external mic
    - Don't care too much about noise cancellation or price

    Any suggestions?

Does the pX100 sound like a good match or would I be disappointed with the bass? (assuming you can attach mics to that one and if it's the foldable one I'm thinking of anyway)

    Thnx for help.
