So i recently just re installed windows, and at that time my headphones were working perfectly no problems at all and when i get everything all configured again. poof my headset has a echo noise kinda sounds like if you put a radio down a well!

Anyways at first i thought it was the drivers so i uninstalled and re installed! nope that wasn't it so i had to make sure it wasn't my headset itself so i plugged it in to my mp3 player and same problem whats weird is the instruments sound fine but i can not hear the peoples voices (weird i know)!

Sounds like there is a crap load of treble and no base or voices...lol

At the end i concluded it was my headset and that some how it had a short but here is my question!

If it had a short it shouldnt play at all right? and is there any recommendation from anyone about how to fix this issue they are only 6 months old and like i said worked fine until the re install!

Probably your recording device is set to be "what you hear" or something like that so its recording all windows sounds.

and/or you have "listen to this device" turned on so you hear what is going into the mic on the headphones.

Based on everything that you have told us (low and "hollow" sound from the headset when it is working, and that sound changes when you are moving the jack connector around), it sounds like the problem is some kind of loose wire near the headset's connection port.

If the headset is still under warranty, then send it back to the manufacturer for repairs. If it is not under warranty, then you can either try to fix it yourself, or you can throw out the headset and buy a new one.
