Firstly I am unhappy with current laptop coolers.. I wish there was one decent one out there., im thinking of going for the lapcool3 .... becasue it has rear exhust, and not vents at the bottom... Im planning on using it on my lap / bed.... so vents at bottom would be useless. Although it's kinda too small for my 15.4 widescreen, well it will be tight. Cheap plastic though.

Now this might sound crazy..... On the bottom of my Acer 3023WLMI... right in the middle at the base is the hottest point, right where the cpu is. Im tempted to buy a thin copper heatsink, like you can get for RAM, VPU etc. Used with a notebook cooler, which provides some space, it might work. I know it will be a **** connection heat wise to the CPU, but it would draw some heat away for sure.

    Sound crazy or not?

The powered cooler under the laptop should be adequate.

well i hear they are not amazing, and even so, it might help, im half tempted to try out of curiosity's sake. It's cheap and can use thermal tape. It would conduct well and increase the surface area for heat distribution to where the air circulation is from the laptop cooler.

Any other view's? Crazy or not? lol
