I'm looking for a WIRED keyboard and mouse combo. I really like how the Logitech diNovo feels like, but I'm sick and tired of my rechargeable batteries needing to be charged every two weeks.

Looking for something that is at least as good as the HP-Compaq nc8430 (also, nw8440, nx9420, etc)...NOT the new HP keyboards. Similarly, Thinkpad quality is good. Mouse needs to be average sized with a somewhat high DPI.

Any good suggestions? Cause I'm looking...I just cannot find anything that I really like...

Also, the cheaper the better obviously...I'm kind of short on cash right now. Nothing at BestBuy or Circuit City...I've been to both places and I cannot stand those keyboards (and most of them are wireless anyway).

I'm going to try to find a link to a mouse that I like the feeling of, but it is wireless...I need to find something similar that is wired. I'll be back later to update.

EDIT: Link above...I like the mouse, and I have a slightly earlier version of that keyboard but I think it is the same. Must feel as good or better than those...

Logitech G15? And maybe the Logitech G5/G7 mouse? I am currently using the G15 and I think it is a really nice board. I am also using the MX1000 and the MX Revolution, which are both good mouses and can last at least a week without being recharged...if anything just charge them at night when you sleep.
