    Hello all,
I just got an asus w3j with BT 2.0. I had been using my logitech v270 with my other BT laptop and it was great. My new laptop will not recognize the mouse though!!! It wont let me install the mouse software either b/c I dont have the correct BT drivers apparently. Any suggestions?
    thanks
    Dan

You should be able to pair the mouse and laptop without the software... that's what I do on my E1505, I can't install the software on it either, doesn't work with the Toshiba stack. What have you tried in order to get it to work on the new laptop?

well basically I have just tried to pair them up and I also tried going into the bluetooth control panel and adding another COM port (and then trying to pair). I really have no idea what those are tho. I have norton installed too so maybe that is messing it up?

You should only have to go to the BT Manager, turn on the mouse, press the reset button on the mouse (a green LED should start flashing), and then tell your BT Manager to form a new pair... this should allow the laptop to see the mouse, and the should then pair... is that how you did it?
