For some reason, I'm finding the scroll wheel and side buttons on my Orochi do not work when on wireless. It works fine when connected through USB, but as soon as I use it through bluetooth, the scroll wheel and the buttons stop working. The mouse still works in the sense I can move the cursor around properly and the wheel click also works, it's just the side buttons and the wheel scrolling does not work anymore.

Anyone no why? Everything used to work fine before, but don't know what happened.

try to unpair the mouse and re-pairing it.
If it doesn't work, go with RMA solution :)

If re-pairing doesn't work, don't be so hasty to RMA it; at least try reinstalling or updating your Bluetooth drivers first. Crayonyes has a personal vendetta against that mouse. :p

well OP said it worked fine before, so I don't think it has to do with bluetooth driver. Did I say anything bad in this thread ? LOL

Excellent! I reinstalled bluetooth drivers and it works fine now. It seems the Dell drivers stopped working for some reason and the mouse was paired with the standard W7 drivers, so the functions weren't working. After reinstalling the drivers, its back to normal. +rep

@crayonyes: lol I was contemplating RMA for a minute, but thanks for the help.

i found the same thing happened after an extended hibernate. The bluetooth icon was not on the taskbar either even though the mouse was working. I went to Devices and Printers, properties on my laptop, then selected Bluetooth properties. After turning off the bluetooth then turning it back on, the scroll and buttons started to work again.

Edit: Ahh I had set the Bluetooth service to Manual when optimizing services, turning that back to automatic fixed my hibernate / scroll not working..
