I have a wireless Xbox 360 controller and I want to connect it with my pc. So, do I need a receiver or I am fine with my laptops wireless card or any other specific drivers to make the controller work?
Helps will be much appreciated!!
Thanks

you need a receiver
http://www.amazon.com/Xbox-Wireless-Gaming-Receiver-Windows-Pc/dp/B000HZFCT2
last i check a few months ago, these were selling new for $20, used for $15... no idea the price jump
then you just need to install the drivers
http://www.microsoft.com/hardware/downloads/default.mspx
then plug it in, sync the controller with the receiver, and u'r done...
some games have the label that says they're also designed for controller use (can't remember the label... just know that GTA IV is one of those games)
if you want more to do with your xbox 360 controller, look at the software "pinnacle game controller"... you can setup the controller to act as a mouse/bind certain keys to it... -
