    Hello everyone!
I am a long time reader and I enjoy these forums very much indeed, now however I am in sort of a conundrum.
I have recently gotten me my nice Alienware laptop and since i always am out on the move I take it with me a lot.

    However....

...I have this huge irrational hatred towards wires and yes i would very much like to get rid of them, and if not get rid of them I want to make them as few as possible.
Considering i am on the move a lot I would very much like to find myself a headset or the likes that are extremely portable and good for doing some gaming. I have been looking at several however I seem to be unable to find a wireless headset that doesn't have a huge transmitter or a huge usb dongle that I just know will sometime get inadvertently borken in the USB socket when I am on the train by some stupid passerby.
Either way I would very much like your help in getting a few suggestions as to what headset or the likes one could get that suits my need.
Also there isn't a must that it is wireless however if it isn't I am more inclined towards shorter wires or maybe even some in ear action.

    Thank you all in advance.

Have you looked in to ones that use Bluetooth?

I have been looking for any sort of wireless connectivity bluetooth or Rf, seems that the selection is sort of limited here for some damn reason. Either way I was looking around and found them Razer Moray+, and those look rather interesting however it would be even better with a wireless solution.

There is a very limited supply cause for something real good will eat up a lot of batteries in a hurry. You either need to have the power come from the source, which you don't like what is available or the receiver needs a huge power source, which would add a lot of weight to the head unit and not make it comfortable.

Well after my research i guess that I am not going to get myself something in teh way of a wireless thingy after all. The way I seem to be going more and more is towards some sort of in ear headset with small earplugs or the likes as that actually is a very portable alternative.

I have been looking at things in the line of Razer Moray+ or the likes, does anyone have any good options or advice on this end?

The Razer Moray+, like many razer products are overpriced and have terrible sound quality. Even though I personally am not an audiophile it sounded horrible to me, way too loaded on base.

As for the wireless your not going to find any good ones without a dongle like object but I've heard of good things from Logitech G930.

Well the g930 looks sort of appealing but they are far too large from a portability standpoint. I am sort of an audiophile and to be honest I have far more expensice headphones to actually listen to music and such.
The main question here is portability to be honest the sound quality does not have to be extreme.

The ultrasone do fold flat and even offer a carrying case for them. So that is pretty important from a travel standpoint. I use the Hfi 2400's they came with the carrying bag not the case.

The Audio Technica M50's collapse and would fit into some generic cases.

I'm using a Sony Ericcson MW600 BT receiver with some decent iem headphones. It is paired to both my cellphone and laptop. It works good for what I need it to do. Battery lasts about 8 hours out so on there
