I just got an 8530w and am looking for a good bluetooth mouse for it.

Has anyone used those card mouses that fit in the laptop? I can see how they would be very convenient, but are they comfortable to use? Does the Elitebook 8530w even have the right kind of slot, what slot do you need for it?

If you dont think the card mouses are comfortable or dont work well, or if the 8530w doesnt have the right slot, any recomendations for a normal bluetooth mouse. Anything on Newegg is game.

    Thanks for any help

I feel that Microsoft and Logitech make the best Bluetooth mice on the market (just my opinion)! ;)

Here is a whole page of Bluetooth Mice for you to ponder over:

The Logitech V470 is a good bluetooth mouse. Its quite popular and gets pretty good reviews. You should also consider regular wireless mice.

The V470 does get good reviews; Dell had it on special offer yesterday so I ordered it and I'm fighting my way into the plastic shrinkwrap right now.

I recommend you the Kensington Slimblade Mouse.

    Another vote for Kensington Slimblade.

I also have a Logitech V470 but I find it uncomfortable. The shape is too bulgy and my hand hurts after a while. (It works fine though.) So I got the Kensington Slimblade Bluetooth Trackball mouse. It has a much flatter shape to it that's much more comfortable for me.

    I have the following mouses:
    - Logitech MX-518: great for desktop gaming
    - Logitech VX revolution: almost perfect mouse for laptop. no bluetooh is the reason why I went to the next mouse: MS 5000
-MS bluetooth 5000: not as comfortable as Logitech VX, not as many buttons/features as Logitech VX. No forward button. but it got bluetooth and work great. connect quickly and no lag at all.

I am been using Logitech VX for a year and love it alot. but I hate the dongle: hassle of plug in and out, worry to break it.

so I am now using MS bluetooth 5000. bluetooth mouse selection is very limited as compare to IR mouse.

After 2 days of use I really like my V470. Because of reports of connectivity problems, indifferent performance and lag with all BT mice I put off buying one, but I should have bought before.

It works really well, it fits my large hands surprisingly well and also works brilliantly when used on an armchair arm.
