    Hi all,

I've been searching but can't find information regarding this problem with the razer orochi. I'm running windows 7 x64 on an alienware m11x.

I have the orochi, and am using it in wired mode. It works fine, but when I install the software to change the settings I get the following error message: Razer Orochi disconnected! Please reconnect it to the PC using the USB cable and click cancel to close the configuration tool.

Any amount of reconnecting does not solve the problem. I have uninstalled and reinstalled the software multiple times, but no luck. I have upgraded the firmware to the latest version on razer's site, but no luck, uninstalled firmware, reinstalled....not sure what to do next.

As has been mentioned in other posts, I first installed the software, then upgraded the firmware, but still no luck. I have reinstalled with mouse plugged in, unplugged. Still no luck.

    Any suggestions?

    Thanks!

Does it work on any other computer?

Yes, it does; however, my other machine is running XP.

Thanks. That's what I'm doing now, but I want to get the software to work so I can access the advanced features of the mouse.

I am not worried about bluetooth, only wired mode.
