Have the mx620 now which came bundled with the mk700 keyboard, and I love it.
Unfortunately I cannot seem to find it at an affordable price, on its own.

So, I bought the m705 which feels just as good but has a horribly shaky scroller, which jumps all over the place and makes the screen shake (apparently this is a known issue with this mouse).

There arent many other options on their website other than the m560, which I am unsure about as far as build quality is concerned and I dont hink it uses the unifying receiver.

Any other (maybe older models) that I should be considering? Hyper-scrolling and good battery life are key...

I thought all the "hyper-scroll" wheels were loose and shaky.

Anyway, the only other wireless mice with those wheels with good battery life are the M560 and the "Anywhere MX" M905. I would try the M560. It is the newest and it looks pretty solid.

Thank you for your reply Qing.
I was looking at it too...do you know if the wheel allows for right/left clicking?
It doesnt look like it does but I could be wrong.

It does. Look at the pictures. They have little arrows on each side of the scroll wheel.

like Qing said, the "hyper-scroll" is loose, i like mouse that actually have clicks for the scollers, that way you wont over scroll.

Then there are the mice that have a selectable scroll wheel. Clicky, or smooth as needed.

This is one thing I like about the Logitech mouse, plus when I get bored like downloading a big patch or something I just play about with the hyper scroll - Wheeee!

I do that all the time with my g500. To OP, it's a wired mouse, has dual mode scroll, and left/right click on the wheel. about $45-$50 online. Adjustable weight, nice braided cord.
