Basically at the moment I have a wireless headset base hooked into my pc via my headphone port but the chord isn't the regular chord of headphone jack to red and white audio chords. Its oddly working with a chord that comes with most digital camera's that have an a/v mono out. This being the yellow video and black mono audio cable. What I'm wondering is if this setup since oddly not really sure how, the yellow chord is supporting the music playing through it as if it really didn't matter what it was made to do/ the color only marks what its intended to do for its original purpose. So for past week on thanksgiving break from college I've been using this since I knew it was here from my digital camera (started off as what the hell lets see if it would work). But my main question is would using this chord clip audio data when being sent via this to the broadcasting base or would the reifgular headphone to red white audio chord be better to transmit this without loss. (since randomly the headset seems to make the messed up audio for certain things but it could be either the pc or way the headset broadcasts mess up the certain audio things. Example is the message sound steam for valve games gives me if i get a message part of it comes in choppy as if it got clipped audio while rest of it is perfectly normal. (the headset is a 2.4ghz broadcasting wireless headset by rocketfish. worked perfectly fine with my tv and and shouldn't really change much for a headphone port. (It came with one chord that changed it to I guess whats the male version (can plug things into it) from a 3.5mm stereo jack. Came to ask here since when buying my current laptop for school this forum helped me alot so i kept it bookmarked. Bellow is kind of a summary of my question since way I am writing is confusing most likley. (2:30 am should be in bed)
Bellow is a summary if I typed the question in an unclear way.
Pictures if it helps:![]()
The above is the chord that normally was meant to do what I want, but I found the below picture does the same thing and question restated. Does the chord pictured below this text do the same thing as the above without losing any quality. (basically just trying to save money towards other ).

Thanks in advance.

So long as the male end of the 3.5mm looks like a normal headphones jack, with the painted areas in the same place, then its the exact same cable, just a different color. If its transmitting any part of the signal flawlessly then I don't think its going to gimp out with a certain section. I'd blame that on the wireless or just the sound(as if its intended to sound that way).
Help deciding if a stereo/headphone jack to RCA audio ports would be better in current setup
