    Hey !
My notebook is the HP Pavilion dv7-4295us and when kept in such a way that it is elevated,it doesnt get that hot ! But i havent tested out games on it yet and am sure it would become considerably hot then ! Plus,i dont know what gadget measures the temperature of the notebook,CPU,GPU and stuff..o i cant even tell you the idle temp. now..But anyways, iam considering buying a cooling pad and currently, these are the options i have !

    Laptop Accessories - Cooler Pads - www.deltapage.com

Please help me choose out one by giving your view of the top 3 preferences among these ! (Exclude the Logitech Speaker Lapdesk N700 as it is out of my budget :( )

P.S- My laptop is a 17.3 inch ! And if anyone could tell me a gadget to measure temp. of my notebook,CPU and GPU too,it would be really great !
    Thanks in advance !

Will be leaving in less than an hour to go and buy one..
So your order of preferences still welcome :)
Any personal experience with one of the models would also be very much appreciated :)

hmm they don't have the cooler master u3.

    Amazon is wrong. U2 is not for 17" laptops. It's for 15". U3 is for 17" +

If they have a U2 they should most definitely have the U3. Big difference in size and you get 3 fans+fan speed controller with the U3. U2 is just 2 fans (15")

    Just my .02

(for an example what it looks like)
Amazon.com: Cooler Master NotePal U3 Notebook Cooler with 3 Fans R9-NBC-8PCK-G: Electronics

but if they don't have the U3. The Cooler Master ergostand would be my #2. Taking in fact I "Almost" bought it. At the time had a different laptop with headphone/mic input in the front of the laptop. So couldn't really use that. As the headphone & mic plug would cause the laptop to not sit flush on those legs to hold it in place.

Dint get your last part..thanks anyways :) But in the ergo stand, will the display always be raised as shown in the website? I mean what if i dont want to raise it and have it flat just like every other cooling pad and only want it raised when i wanna watch movies?

oh my old acer laptop, the headphone and mic input's were in the front of the laptop. So with the headphone and microphone plugs hooked in, when it's sitting on that ergo stand, it wouldn't sit flush. Because those plugs were touching the table. So essentially the whole weight of the laptop were sitting on the the headphone and microphone plugs lol

but if you have a side input for microphone and headphone, doesn't matter than.

yeah the back legs are adjustable. So it can sit flat or upright high like in the picture

yeah Cooler Master U3 is made for a 17"+ laptop size.

    hmm..

    NotePal ErgoStand - Cooler Master

370mm is 15".. got to find something else. Unless if you can stand using a 15". but that's too small for a 17" laptop

    edit*

not good, the rest is 15". Hopefully they have a U3 or something else that's 17" (430mm) at the store that's not listed online. Which typically they would have more stuff in-store than online. Just like from the other thread metal vs plastic, make sure you look for something that's really perforated like the U3. Something that wouldn't cause a lot of hot spots because there isn't ventilation.
