I am looking for a new mouse for my laptop, a wireless one that would be portable and suitable for gaming too, nothing too small, maybe 3/4 the size of a normal average mouse? I am buying from here:

And also i prefer if it has both, bluetooth/wireless capability (but i will probably be using bluetooth more)
Anyway here are some choices i picked out, (Im on a budget i prefer anything <$50 but a little over is fine if its good)

Of those you listed, the VX Nano is the best in my opinion. Ideally, you should check out the Razer Orochi. It's a good size and shape, it's got Bluetooth and a detachable cable, along with 1ms response in wired mode, and 4,000 DPI. It's a bit over your budget, but well worth it.

I'm sure it will be too expensive, but take a look at the Razer Orochi. If you can shell out the money, then you will have a proper gaming mouse, that also has Bluetooth.
If you don't want the Orochi, then I'd get the VX Nano.
EDIT: Damn, too late! -
I third the Nano. Friend of mine has it and it has a great feel and response to it.
-
I will check out the razr orochi depending on what the price is here in Canada, but if not I guess ill pick up the Nano later tomorrow, thanks guys.
Edit: Is the VX Nano rechargable or do you need batteries? -
Umm not sure. I think its batteries but I do know they last a long time.
-
The Nano requires batteries. I find that they last a long time, and that I typically go at least a couple months between changing them. Given that I use my mouse 12+ hours a day 365 days a year, a pair of batteries goes a long way.
Personally, I think this mouse is great for gaming. Perhaps not the very best in terms of response time, but extremely capable. Couple it with a surface designed for precision mousing, and I doubt you'll be disappointed. Even without a dedicated surface, it's pretty darned responsive. -
sometimes i lie down in bed and work/game with my laptop (with my laptop on a book or some sort of hard surface of course) would it work with fabric? And how good is the VX to play some casual fps games like tf2?

You know me too well, Shadow.
Yeah, the eXactMat is perfect for that. It's a hard anodized aluminum surface, so it will be flat and rigid no matter what it's on. It has two sides; one ultra slick Speed side, and one heavily textured Control side. You just flip it over to use the side you want. The only downside I can think of is that it's $30, but when you use it, you know you're getting $30 worth of mousepad out of it.
As for the VX Nano, it will do just fine for TF2. -
Alright thanks guys. Unfortunately the Razer orochi only retails at tigerdirect around here and its about $100, it does look like a slick mouse though but its a bit over my budget atm.
-
Yikes, $100? Here it retails direct from Razer for $79, and you can find it at most e-tailers for $70. I know there's conversion rates and all, but still, that seems a bit steep.

go Nano!

I'd steer clear of razer products unless were talking about mats. I returned a copperhead twice in one year, faulty wheel then faulty right mouse button. A friend has a tarantula which just now stopped working, and i also had a krait whose rubber coating peeled completely off. Also that glossy surface is awful as it smudges oh so easily whenever your hands get sweaty (mine do when i game). Just my two cents.

razer products been fine for me.
the mouse im using on my desktop is the razer mamba and its the best mouse i ever used tho the price tag is a bit steep 130$ but is well worth it too me.
i also got a razer diamond back limited ed which i had about 3 years and still going strong. i did had to get it replace 1 time sense the wire had a short on it.
but even my cousins logitech 518 did the same thing couple weeks ago so each hardware has it downs sometimes...
im also going to get the razer orochi in couple days for my laptops
for gaming or anything else i highy recommend razer mouses.
tho i did herd the nano is good too i have the logitech revolution vx which is pretty much the same as the nano but think the nano is a bit more smaller.
i been using with my laptops and its been pretty good the pass 2years.
but i need something faster cause coming from my mamba that i use for my desktop too the logitech feels like its way too slowand like that its blue tooth sense my asus 1201n netbook has it.
but if the price is too steep for you i would go for the nano. -
yup TS try razer orochi !

I picked up the VX nano today and its awesome thus far, thx!
