I'll be buying a new laptop in the VERY near future - by that I mean like in the next 5 hours. So I need a lapdesk for my mouse. My only qualifications would be, quality build, as in not flimsy ie. the slide out mouse pad moving around and not staying put and being in general troublesome. It HAS to have room for a mouse, my laptop will be 15.6". And I'd like it either to have room for my laptop to breathe so it won't overheat while sitting on it or have fans in it like a cooling pad. I'm looking to spend under $50.
I'm considering the Logitech Portable Lapdesk N315 http://www.amazon.com/Logitech-939-000181-Portable-Lapdesk-N315/dp/B002NTADVW/ref=sr_1_2?s=electronics&ie=UTF8&qid=1317258301&sr=1-2 , but my concerns are that there are no vents or fans according to some customers, but then again some say the exact opposite about vents. It has about almost a five star review, so I imagine it's very very close to perfect. I am just afraid of it overheating, as I will be playing games on my laptop - Sager NP8150 which is supposed to have great temperatures, but I feel I should be safe regardless. I think my last laptop broke because of overheating (unrelated to games) so I want to be careful this time. So if anyone has personally tried this, I'd like to know how it was, how comfortable it was, etc. I also wanna know other options.
*Edit: I'm not so sure about this one, apparently the mouse slide out doesn't have enough room, gaming wise. Never used a mouse for gaming so I can't tell just by looking at it, so I can only go off what the two reviewers said.
I was looking at the Lapgear Deluxe Computer Lapdesk http://www.amazon.com/Creative-45492-LapGear-Computer-LapDesk/dp/B002WER27Q/ref=cm_rdp_product where there are more favorable reviews concerning mouse space as far as gaming is concerned, so I might pick that one. But it might be uncomfortable because of the hard wrist rest. =\
Maybe the Logitech might be best, I can't really find anything with more mouse room... the Lapgear would be perfect, but I'm really concerned about the hard wrist rest.
Breakdown:
*Quality, if it has a slide out mouse pad versus being a big enough pad for 15.6" laptop+mouse I'd like it to not be flimsy
*HAS to have enough room for a mouse
*Has vents or fans for air circulation
*Under $50

I've pretty much decided on the Logitech lapdesk, I can't find anymore options... anyone have any experience whatsoever with it, or know of any other lapdesks?
