I have Altec Lansing VS2320, they actually served very well. They crackle on BF3 sometimes but other then that they have done well and are very clear for the price I paid of ~20 at Target for these. Since they are old I figure technology and price would have came together to form a better product for the same money in 2012(i got these in 2008)

What do you guys think would be a great upgrade from 20 or 30???

Ah, Altec Lansing! Still got some (ancient?) Altec Lansing ACS495. Got them for free because someone spilled coffee on them... They still work fine and have absolutely amazing sound quality. Sometimes old > new...

Found some used ones on ebay if you are interested: Altec Lansing ACS 495 Computer Speakers | eBay

Oh Thanks guys, but the thing is...
My Altec Lansing VS2320 are small have base and for 20 are very clear and have base and don't really crackle on BF3. These were only 20 dollars.
The speakers you guys listed are kinda big and the sub I have no space for.
I was looking for speakers that are better then my Altec Lansing VS2320 from 2008 sine it's now 2012. I only have enough space the size of the Altec Lansing VS2320.

So hoping to get something in my specs thanks again.
    Still looking, suggestions welcome.

But doesn't the VS2320 also have a subwoofer?

The Altec Lansing ACS 495 speakers are, without the subwoofer, actually pretty small. They are the size of normal desktop speakers, not bigger than the VS2320. And the price should match too.

Oh, and newer is not always better than older.

They VS2320 I have actually come without the subs and do a fine job but crackle lately(getting old) they are 2.0 speakers like I want and they are powered through the wall not usb. I want something updated like these but smaller.

Thanks for your help, any other suggestions.
