I'm looking to purchase an external monitor within the next two weeks and was wondering if this is a good buy? It will be used for moderate gaming, school work, and web browsing. I don't know much about the subject so any advice would be appreciated. http://www.tigerdirect.com/applicat...=H94-1908&CMP=EMC-TIGEREMAIL&SRCCODE=WEM1342C

Are you OK with the resolutions ?
You can get much higher resolutions than this on a 19". -
I would stick with reputable brands such as Samsung, Dell or NEC.

Thanxs for the help guys I think I'll go with this one http://www.tigerdirect.com/applications/SearchTools/item-details.asp?EdpNo=2541412&CatId=170
Or just wait a few weeks(save more $$) and go for one of Dell's 22in -
I second Dell monitors, they go on sale bi-weekly, and their pretty damn good for the price

I currently have an Acer, had to send it on for repair couple months ago. But acer tech was cool told her all the testing I did, so she skipped all the dumb tech questions and had me send in for repair. Have not had a problem since. Heres link to it http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16824009094
Oh and the turn around from me shipping to them and back was about a week. -
I did alot of research and came up with this Dell

Man you can't get past the size - 24 inches!! I will take the hit on pixels and resolution.

I'd go with a Dell, I use a 20" wide Dell and I like it alot. They're a good brand of monitors too.
