Hi,
I want to get a hard case for my hp laptop. What one is the best? I have been looking at some cases made by Targus and Vanguard. The laptop screen is 15.4 inches wide. The dimensions of the laptop are: 10.4"(L) x 14.1"(W) x 1.38"(min H) /1.77"(max H). I also want to get a slip skin for extra protection and just a more portable method if I need it. I have been looking at this one: http://www.bestbuy.com/site/olspage.jsp?id=1124431844947&type=product
Does anyone know anything about it? Is it a good buy? Thanks for all the help,
Shamir

I would suggest looking into the Pelican 1490CC1 Deluxe Laptop case. It's expensive, but I've been impressed with mine. It fits my Dell e1505 (1.44x14x10.45") nicely. You can find them on the secondary market at ~$135
You probably wouldn't be able to fit a sleeve in there though. -
I have a dv5000 and I went with the backpack option, choosing the Targus CityGear Chicago backpack.

I like it a lot, and it holds the notebook quite well, good padding. -
for a slip skin, i would check out the shinza zeroshock. as for a hard case, you could check out the axio hardpacks.
