I have a USB headset and it works well most of the time. But sometimes I need to switch back to my speakers. Is there an easy way to do this without having to go to the tangle of wire behind my dock to unplug the headset? I looked around device manager a bit but found no clue.

    you're in windows or mac?

both has a way to do this.

    in Windows:

    go to

start -> control panel -> sounds, speech, and audio devices

there should be Sounds and Audio Devices near the bottom, next to speech. click on it.

it should open Sounds and Audio Devices Properties, and you're on Volume tab.

move to Audio Tab under it there should be Sound Playback and Sound recording. this should have the current devices that play/record your sound. click on the drop down menu to choose what sound devices you want to use.

    and thats for windows.

    for Mac:

Apple -> System Preferences -> Sounds

Click on Output and select which device you want to use to Playback the sound.
Click on Input and select which device you want to use to record sound.
