I was cleaning my old Logitech mouse and used too much water. When I connected it to my computer it did not work anymore.

Then I took it apart to clean and dry. When putting it back together I did not know how to fit in two parts. Then I thought "what if I leave them out". So I did. Turns out the mouse works great and I can now scroll much faster through documents, very much like the flying scroll wheel of the VX revolution and other Logitech mice.

Here's the picture with the two small iron parts that I left out.

This is either epic fail or complete awesomeness :D.

Now you can get paid to do hyper-fast-scrolling mods!

Oh yeah, I remember doing the same thing in an old mouse of mine, long time ago... But it didn't work as well as my Logitech MX revolution :p Actually... it made the scroll completly useless.

Well the scroll here works very good. It's not as good as VX revolution because the wheel quits flying earlier, but it's enough to scroll to the bottom of any webpage I encountered sofar.

nice idea, just be sure not to let a single drop of liquid fall on it.
