I need an external monitor because a single laptop display isn't enough for me anymore. But I've always been a laptop person, I have no experience with buying monitors or such.

I've found a couple, but I'm always getting one of these problems:
    - It's out of stock everywhere
    - I can't buy it with Euros
    - If it's in stock and an European store, there's literally no reviews of it whatsoever

The product info is always full of buzzwords like "jaw-dropping sharpness and colors" even if it's a crappy <80€ display, so that doesn't help at all.

What's worse is that I'm looking for a display that shows accurate colors and that's it. When I'm looking for "best monitors", it's always "best monitors for gaming". I could not care less about response times or viewing angles or monitor sizes or weight or thickness or le hdmi connection or the way it looks on the outside. My only requirements are that it's full-hd or more, <200€, and has good color reproduction. And ideally 24" or smaller in size, but I don't even care at this point anymore.

    TL;DR: See title.

Simple answer: Buy a Dell Ultrasharp U-series

    Dell Ultrasharp U2312HM 23" monitor
    Dell Ultrasharp U2412HM 24" monitor
    Dell Ultrasharp U2713HM 27" monitor

In general, Dell Ultrasharp U-series have high image quality, sturdy monitor stands, good on-screen controls, and good connectivity options.

You can do a ton more research to find alternate brands / models that may fit a specific niche better that you're looking for. But if you just want a simple recommendation for you to just go out and buy, and know you're getting a fantastic value for your money, get a Dell Ultrasharp U-series.

I also vote for Dell monitors. I have Dell Ultrasharp U3014 30". Pretty satisfied with it. However, it is quite expensive, but it is worth to buy.
