I'm in the process of getting my own bag for my fujitsu, but my search has come in vain; everything I've come by is just... ugly. I'm focusing on mainly getting a messenger bag since chunky backpacks are kind of... ugly.

I have looked at several normal messenger bags, but I'm worried that they will not provide enough support for my laptop... does anyone just use a plain messenger bag, let's say from a retailer like J. Crew and are satisfied with it?

If anyone has any experience with sleeves, are they thin enough to protect the laptop, but still fit into a messenger bag? Thanks!~

I like backpacks. We're actually about to review three bags from Tom Bihn. I'm going to move this thread to accessories.

    Oo thanks!

I semi like the concept of the mitre. I could probably use that and just get a "soft-shell" messenger bag and things will probably be okay?!

    http://www.tombihn.com/page/001/PROD/300/TB0324

and they are going to discontinue and redesign the mitre size which fits my laptop!

"The Size 4 Mitre has been discontinued and will be replaced with a new, redesigned padded sleeve. The new sleeve will be available in mid-July. "

This sleeve from SFBags seems interesting too.

The only sad thing I'm realizing is that all these sleeves are being specifically tailored for ibooks and "secondhand" tailored for PC laptops. All the "customer reviews" (which are all positive by the way, lol... wonder where all the negative feedback goes) hint at having some sort of apple laptop. Sad! I hope when I get my apple tailored sleeve, it still fits snug with my PC laptop.

Guess I'll have to wait till mid-july~ Hrm. That's cool. Thanks!
