    Id say the Z4s are better. I have experienced both speaker systems and can honestly say the Z4s sounded much, much better. THough not better than my z5500 :D

    I have both. I got lucky and found a mismarked Z4 at Office-Max for $40. They really do sound a lot better than the X230. And I also have the X530 in my office. Decent surround for $70.

    they are much better than the x-230's . after haveing x-230s for a while,I looked at the z4s but decided to make the jump straight to the z2300's.
