I am going to get the sleeve from them for my T61p 14.1" 4:3, with the piggy, suspension strap, and flap, any experience with them?
(I will just be carrying the laptop, not in a backpack)

anyone know how heavy it is?

would you recommend it with or without the flap?

My roommate just got one for his HP DV9000. If you're using it alone I would personally get the flap. It seems very well padded. It has twice as much padding if not more than my Case Logic sleeve, but also at 2-3 times the price. We also decided that the piggyback pouch was unnecessary as with this particular case and laptop it was loose enough to place the power brick and mouse into the slash pocket built into the sleeve.

Okay, yeah, I was unsure of the piggy-backs usefulness.

it will be heavier than your typical sleeve. i can't say the exact amount though. if your backpack/messenger bag doesn't have good waterproofing protection, i would get the flap.

I would not carry these in a backpack though.

ahhh...i would definitely get a flap in that case. if you get caught in rain, you would lose your computer without it.
